Mary Thorn, being of sound mind, do make publish & declare this as & for my last will and testament.

I give and devise and bequeath unto my husband William Thorn, all my estate forever the same being an equity in premises known as 1412 35th Street, N. W., Washington, District of Columbia.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 6th day of April 1908.

of us who have hereto set our
hands as subscribing witnesses
in the presence of her, the above
named testatrix & in the presence

On this twenty seventh day of July A.D. 1908 personally appeared Daniel J. Daley, who on oath says that he is one of the subscribing witnesses to the forgoing last will and testament of Mary E. Thorn deceased, late of the District of Columbia, that the Testatrix therein named signed said will in his presence; that said Testatrix published, pronounced and declared the same to be her last will and testament; that at the time of so doing said Testatrix was, to the best of affiant’s apprehension, of sound and disposing mind, and capable of executing a valid deed or contract; and that affiant’s name as witness to the aforesaid will was signed in the presence and at the request of Testatrix in the presence of John J Sullivan the other subscribing witness, who also singed in the presence of the affiant, and in the presence and at the request of the Testatrix.
